HMT Announces Summer Programs for Children & Teens

Home Made Theater is pleased to announce their 14th summer of programming
for children ages 8 through 17 at Bloom: A Movement Space on Regent Street
in Saratoga Springs. HMT's classes are an excellent opportunity for
children and teens to use their creativity and talents during their summer
vacations, while building their self-esteem and confidence in a nurturing
and supportive environment. Returning as instructor for HMT's 2012 summer
programs is NYC actor/director Paul Sigrist.

Space is available for all three week-long sessions: Shakespeare for
Young Actors (July 9-13), The Foundations of Good Singing (July 16-20) and
Advanced Shakespeare Exploration (July 23-27). No experience necessary for
the first two sessions. The camp meets Mondays through Fridays 1-3:30 p.m.
The class fee per week session is $135. Those who register by June 8th will
receive a $10 discount. Each one-week session will culminate with a
performance that gives students a chance to experience the magic of live
theater. Open to friends and family, this showcase performance will
demonstrate what the students have learned during the program.

Instructor Paul Sigrist is a professional singing actor and director who
works in theater, film and television. He performs with many New York
companies including 19 seasons with The New York Gilbert and Sullivan
Players. He played Bill Bobstay the Boatswain in the Drama Desk
Award-nominated seven actor production of H.M.S. Pinafore produced in New
York by the Vortex Theater. From 2005-2011 he was the stage director for
student productions for Opera Saratoga. On TV, he has been seen on Saturday
Night Live since 2009 as one of the regular additional actors used for
sketches, as well as on The Electric Company, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,
Law and Order: SVU, 30 Rock and Blue Bloods. Paul also appeared as
real-life 1980s Grateful Dead keyboardist Brent Mydland, in the 2011 feature
film The Music Never Stopped. SAG-AFTRA, AEA.

All classes are limited to 15 students per class. Registrations will
be accepted in the order in which they are received and payment is due at
the time of registration. All classes will be held at Bloom: A Movement
Space located at 153 Regent Street in Saratoga Springs. To download a flyer
