Creative Action Unlimited, a Capital Region theater/film production company
dedicated to creating original work about social issues, announces the
world premiere of *“Michael and Steve Talk About the End of Life as They
Knew It”* in the Meader Little Theater at Russell Sage College in Troy, N.Y.

Written and performed by Michael Kennedy and Steve Swartz, along with a
talented ensemble cast, “Michael and Steve” is an irreverent, at times
humorous, at times heartbreaking look at two very different sides of
caregiving.

Michael recounts a year in the life of her young daughter battling
childhood cancer. Steve talks about caring for his mother in her final
years. “Michael and Steve” is about people seeking solace, about the twists
and turns of fate that surprise and sometimes sustain us, and the
redemptive and transcendent quality of art.

NEVADA, which opened at the 1990 U.S. Sundance Film Festival. He is a

County for six years. Steve won First Prize in the Society of Professional
Journalists’ annual Green Eyeshades competition for Excellence in Arts
Criticism.

acting teacher at the NYS Theatre Institute Theater Arts School and
SummerStage programs, where she created multiple original productions with
