<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3>“Wanda's Visit” is about two catastrophic days in the life of a young(ish) married couple.</FONT></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3>When Wanda, Jim's old high school flame, invites herself over to dinner at Jim and Marsha's, Jim and Marsha's sedentary marriage is shaken up, and revealed to be not nearly as dull as either had thought.<SPAN> </SPAN>Wanda invades their neatly furnished home like a cyclone in a party dress.<SPAN> </SPAN>She covers their living-room with the contents of her purse, pursues them into their bathroom, just to chat, even follows them into their bedroom after they've gone to sleep, to regale them (like a horrible bizzaro Scheherazade) with tales of her tumultuous love life. </FONT></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3> </FONT></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3>It is a roaringly funny comedy, broad and bawdy- but underneath all the craziness, there lies a very serious question: How Could This Happen?<SPAN> </SPAN>Why doesn't Jim throw this loony out?<SPAN> </SPAN>Why does he let her spend the night?<SPAN> </SPAN>Why does he agree to massage her back the next morning?<SPAN> </SPAN>And, on the other hand, why doesn't Marsha speak up?<SPAN> </SPAN>Why doesn't she demand a prompt eviction of this interloper?</FONT></P>
