<DIV>Amy, attractive, lonely and a little fed up with her dead-end job as a bank clerk, is having an unusual day. An oddly dressed Englishman comes up to her desk, greatly concerned about an earlier visitor whom he is evidently following. What Amy doesn't realize yet is that both of these men have just left the London streets of 1893. Jack the Ripper has used H.G. Wells' time machine to disappear into the future, and H.G. decides it's his responsibility to bring him back to London and justice. H.G. and Amy begins to close in on Jack, which puts them into some seriously dangerous situations. </DIV>

<DIV>**Recommended for Mature Audiences**<BR>Du, a right to life activist, and Keely, a pregnant rape victim she is confining, transcend their circumstances and the ideological issues that separate them. Du is both guard and caretaker, driven by her faith to ensure that Keely’s pregnancy comes to term. The two women develop a touching and unlikely bond. <EM>Keely and Du</EM> is a mind-probing issue play with a gripping human face. Who is accountable? What is the extent of individual freedom? What are a rape victim's rights? <DIV>When Henry VIII's first wife is unable to produce an heir to the throne, he uses that as a pretext for the pope to grant him a divorce, so he can marry his newest conquest. The King is backed by everyone on this request except the highly regarded and religious Sir Thomas More. Cardinal Wolsey, Chancellor of England, names More as his successor and it becomes important for Henry to get More's support, but he cannot be swayed. Henry demands the clergy to renounce the Pope and to name him Head of the Church of England. Oliver Cromwell frames More, forcing him to resign as Chancellor. Eventually More is brought to trial and is forced to choose between his life and his morals. <EM>A Man for All Seasons</EM> won multiple Tony awards and a Theater World award when first produced on Broadway in 1962. <BR><BR><IMG height=8 alt="" src="http://us.mc567.mail.yahoo.com/mc/images/dotted_line.gif" width=344></DIV><B>

<DIV>The scene is the lobby of a rundown hotel so seedy that it has lost the "e" from its marquee. As the action unfolds, the residents, ranging from young to old, from the defiant to the resigned, meet, talk and interact with each other during the course of one day. The drama is of passing events in their lives, everyday encounters and the human comedy. In the resulting mosaic each character emerges clearly and perceptively defined, and the sum total of what they are—or wish they were—becomes a poignant, powerful call to America to recover lost values and to restore itself in its own and the world's eyes. <EM>The Hot L Baltimore</EM> was the winner of a New York Drama Circle Award, an Obie Award and an Outer Critics Circle Award. </DIV></FONT></DIV></DIV></DIV></td></tr></table><br>
