Rosie imagines she is a movie star who, along with her friends, Kathy,
Alligator, Johnny, Pierre, and the Nutshell Kids, pretends she is making a movie
about the mysterious "disappearances" of her younger brother, Chicken Soup.
Everyone wants to be in Rosie’s movie, and her friends each show off their
talents by auditioning for her.</FONT></STRONG></P>
<P align=center><EM><FONT size=4>Book and Lyrics by Maurice Sendak. Music by
Carole King. Rosie, the sassiest kid on her block of Brooklyn's Avenue P,
entertains herself and her friends by acting out show biz fantasies, notably
directing and starring in an Oscar winning movie. Written by the author and
illustrator of Where the Wild Things Are and other popular children's books,
