<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Tahoma; ">Pinehaven Country Club will be hosting a 2 week summer theatre camp for children entering grades 2 through 8 where an adaptation of Lewis Carroll's <span class="EC_EC_Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic; ">Alice in Wonderland</span> will be performed. Each child will be learning the basics of Acting through improv games, scene work, and other acting exercises as well as backstage skills like set construction and design, sound design, costume design, and set painting through practical application. We are using a script where every child has a part and at least 5 lines as well as "special effects duty" making the sound and visual effects for the show when they are not onstage, they'll always be busy.<div><br></div><div>The camp runs from 9am to 1pm Monday August 3rd through Friday August 7th, and Tuesday August 11th through Friday August 14th .There will be a Brunch theatre presentation of Alice In Wonderland on Saturday August 15th at 12pm for Family, Friends, and Pinehaven Members. The Club is at 1151 Siver Rd. in Guilderland, just off of Old State Rd. <br></div><div><br></div><div>The cost of the camp will be $250 per child (cost includes lunch and snack), and we are only able to accept between 10 and 14 children so please sign up early. The deadline for nonmember registration is Tuesday, July 28th.
