color:#444444'>It’s a brand new Steamer No. 10 Kids’ Fare
Production, based on Edith Nesbitt’s charming short story <i><span
style='font-style:italic'>The Last of the Dragons</span></i>. It has been n</span></font>early
a century since Nesbitt penned this clash between the preservation of
traditions and the preservation of living things. Today the concept may be more
relevant than ever, though, and as global as saving Polar Bears, or as local as
saving the Karner Blue Butterfly.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoPlainText style='margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt'><font size=3
face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt'>When a Prince and Princess are to be married, the Prince always slays a
dragon to save the Princess. It's Tradition! But this dragon is the last
dragon, with no interest in eating Princesses. And the Princess can handle a
sword better than any Prince around… perhaps it's the dragon that needs
to be saved, not the Princess? Our adaptation is a whimsical take which serves
a catalyst for discussion about the value of, and reasons for, traditions, with
some wonder and laughter along the way.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

latest adaptation has been developed in rehearsal by director Eric Rose and
cast members Suzie Dunn, Jayton London, and </span></font><span lang=EN>Heidi
Nathanielsz</span>. The Dragon has been constructed by sculptor and mask
maker Jeff Brower.<o:p></o:p></p>
