During an unbearably hot and seemingly endless summer in Philadelphia, the Second Continental Congress stumbles their way through arguments, political alliances and bouts of homesickness toward the completion of a Declaration of Independence that almost wasn't signed. This Tony Award-winning musical comedy about a rag-tag group of men and their journey in birthing a new nation is sure to provoke laughter, sympathy and moral ambiguity. The RPI Players is a student-run community theater. While RPI students are the primary participants in the organization, auditions and production roles are open to all community members.
