Troy, NY - November 2011 - The RPI Players are presenting their Fall
play, Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Christopher Hampton. The performances
are November 11, 12, 18, and 19 at 8pm and November 13 at 2pm.

Les Liaisons Dangereuses is a romantic tragedy that explores the
heartbreaking consequences of desire, sex, and manipulation through the
interactions of 18th century French aristocrats.  While it takes place
during the time of Louis XVI, the RPI Players are adding a gothic punk
flair to the play, which has never been done before.  The show follows
the notorious Vicompte de Valmont and his various seductions.
Eventually, his endeavors result in a complicated web of love and desire, 
in which even Valmont loses himself.       


The RPI Players is a student run community theater. While RPI students are
the primary participants in the organization, auditions and production roles
are open to all community members.
