of one-act shows, An Evening of Performance. The shows being performed are:
Suddenly Last Summer, written by Tennessee Williams and directed by Samantha
Malanche; God (A Play), written by Woody Allen and directed by Patrick Kessler;
and The Fascinating Foundling, written by George Bernard Shaw and directed by
Robert Stewart. The performance dates are February 17, 18, 24, and 25 at 8pm
with a matinee showing on February 19 at 2:00pm</span><span style="font-family:"Courier New""></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";background:white">The drama features Catharine Holly's story
about how her cousin Sebastian dies on a trip to Europe under mysterious
circumstances. Sebastian's mother, Violet Venable, tries to cloud
the truth about her son's homosexuality and death and threatens to
lobotomize Catharine for her incoherent utterances relating to Sebastian's
demise. Catherine's family is under threat of being  written out of
Violet's will if the truth comes out and Catherine is under pressure to either
lie  about what really happened or to "tell the truth." Finally,
under the influence of a truth serum, Catharine tells the gruesome story
of Sebastian's death, but is she an insane murderer or is she telling the
truth?</span><span style="font-family:"Courier New""></span></p>

playwright writing the play about to be performed, ancient Greek actors
performing a play, the RPI Playhouse, and Woody Allen’s apartment. When a
deus ex machina falls flat on its face, the audience and actors are left
to some unanswered questions: if God saves everything, how can we be
accountable for our actions? How can we end a play with no solid
beginning? And is having Zeus throwing lightning bolts while being rolled
on stage on an elaborate machine too literal for a deus ex machina?</span><span style="font-family:"Courier New""></span></p>

Foundling" is a burlesque about a man and a woman turning to the Lord
Chancellor responsible for them, each demanding he provide them with a mate who
meets their specific requirements. Hilarity ensues as the lawyer and his aid
try to satisfy their solicitations in turn, in the end inadvertently leading
the two to each other.</span><span style="font-family:"Courier New""></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The RPI Players is a student-run community theater. While
RPI students are the primary participants in the organization, auditions and
