</span></b>On their own, Matthew Carefully (formerly of Kamikaze Hearts) and
Hunter Sagehorn (currently with Alta Mira) create a wide array of sounds
ranging from the treated-mandolin loops of Carefully’s “<st1:place
w:st="on"><st1:State w:st="on">Kentucky</st1:State></st1:place>” to the
angular, rhythmically cryptic rock of Sagehorn’s band. But with Rosary
Beard -- which made its debut at the famed Caffe Lena -- the duo strips things
back to just two acoustic guitars, sitting knee to knee, weaving breathtaking
melodies to and fro. It’s haunting, ethereal and fresh. At the Steamer, Rosary
Beard will celebrate music from a new album being recorded this spring. <st1:place
w:st="on"><st1:City w:st="on">Northampton</st1:City></st1:place>'s Winterpills
will open the show with their unique blend of chamber pop.<o:p></o:p></p>

equipment funds for a local school while focusing musically on themes of
