 Our Gala Fundraiser will feature a world premiere reading of our 
collaborative playwright project written in the "exquisite corpse" style
 developed by Surrealists in the 1920s!  The Exquisite Corpse is a 
parlor ga<span class="">me wherein a group of people 
takes turns contributing to a single story, with each successive writer 
only glimpsing the end of the previous writer’s work. <br> <br> Like a 
theatrical Frankenstein, the project stitches together the storytelling 
talents of 6 Capital Region playwrights: Nathaniel Beynon, Sunny da 
Silva, Marty Egan, Stephen Henel, Lydia Nightingale, and Matthew Side.  
Their surreal and collaborative work is entitled “The Lurid Coffee Stubbornly Betrays the 
Sedentary Scissors." <br> <br> Our celebration will also include a silent 
auction featuring fantastic items from local businesses, hor d'oeuvres, sparkling 
conversation, and exciting announcements about our upcoming season! <br> <br>

fostering the creativity of local talent and reaching out to our
