Following the success of his 1970s-styled production of "The
Merry Wives of Windsor" (2012), director Tony Pallone has returned to Classic
Theater Guild's Helderberg Theater Festival with a 1980s-styled
production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Opening weekend was a
hit with audiences, and this coming weekend will offer four more free outdoor performances, Thursday, July 24 through Sunday, July 27, under the big-top tent on
the grounds of Indian Ladder Farms in Altamont, N.Y. All shows are at 7 pm,
and are held rain or shine. An additional gala fundraiser performance
will be held in the Fenimore Gallery at Proctors on Saturday, Aug. 2.

treatment — with New Wave fairies, corporate-raider royals, yuppie
lovers and a punk rock Puck. For a preview, check out our Facebook event page, www.facebook.com/events/1434613336794927.
