Ghent Playhouse stage will become Mushnik’s Flower Shop on Skid Row as the
Playhouse begins its 41<sup>st</sup> Season with <i>Little Shop of Horrors</i>.<span> </span>The
play will open on Friday, October 9 and run through Sunday, October 25 with
performances Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. </span></p><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman" size="3">

that promises to make all your dreams come true?<span> </span>Mix up a big batch of rock and roll, black
comedy and Motown.<span> </span>Add some horror,
doo-wop and crazy characters.<span> </span>Finish the
zany concoction with infectious songs and gallons of blood.<span> </span>What could possibly go wrong?</span></p><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman" size="3">

by the 1960 science fiction film by Roger Corman, the script and lyrics for <i>Little Shop of Horrors</i> were penned by Howard
Ashman.<span> </span>Allen Menken composed the music.<span> </span>This musical had an extended off-Broadway run
and continues to delight audiences anywhere it plays! </span></p><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman" size="3">

</font><p style="margin:0in 23.25pt 7.5pt 0in;line-height:normal"><span style="color:black;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;font-size:10pt">Kelly Sienkiewicz (Audrey)
is from Catskill, NY and this production her first with GPH. She has
appeared in productions with Upstage Productions, Lights Up Productions and The
Two of Us Productions, which include <i>Legally
Blonde</i>, <i>Into the Woods</i> and <i>Les Miserables</i>. </span></p><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman" size="3">

Mushnik) is from Hudson, New York and has been in several shows at GPH, the
last of which was <i>Fallen Angels</i> last
fall. </span></p><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman" size="3">
</font><p style="margin:0in 23.25pt 7.5pt 0in;line-height:normal"><span style="color:black;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;font-size:10pt">Michael Meier
(Oren) <span> </span>of Chatham, New York has also
been a regular on the GPH stage, appearing in such productions as <i>You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown</i>, <i>The Countess </i>and <i>The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee</i>. He is also a member of
the Pantoloons, appearing in their annual Pantos held at GPH. </span></p><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman" size="3">
</font><p style="margin:0in 23.25pt 7.5pt 0in;line-height:normal"><span style="color:black;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;font-size:10pt">Nellie Rustick
(Chiffon) is from Chatham and is a formally trained opera singer. She
also enjoys theatre and has appeared on the Ghent Playhouse stage, as well as
that of PS21, the West Sand Lake Arts Center, and SUNY Albany and Russell Sage
College. </span></p><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman" size="3">
</font><p style="margin:0in 23.25pt 7.5pt 0in;line-height:normal"><span style="color:black;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;font-size:10pt">Katie K. Snyder (Crystal)
is from Nassau, NY. This is her first time with GPH, but has worked with
Circle Theater Players, OurOwnProductionS, Not So Common Players and Highlight
Acting Troupe. </span></p><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman" size="3">

Elizabeth Corey (Ronette), from East Greenbush, NY has worked with FPNENY,
Schenectady Light Opera Company and Steamer 10, appearing in such productions
as <i>Avenue Q</i>, <i>Grease</i>, and <i>The 25th Annual
Putnam County Spelling Bee</i>. </span></p><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman" size="3">

Hollie Miller's ( the voice of Audrey II) first time working with the Ghent
Playhouse. Hollie is from Troy, New York. </span></p><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman" size="3">
</font><p style="margin:0in 23.25pt 7.5pt 0in;line-height:normal"><span style="color:black;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;font-size:10pt">Matthew Coviello of
Pittsfield, MA and Robert Walker of North Chatham, NY round out the cast.<span> </span>Matthew is no stranger at the Ghent
Playhouse, having played the title character in <i>You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown</i>, and appearing in several pantos
as a member of the Pantoloons. He has also worked with the Town Players
of Pittsfleld and Berkshire Community College. Robert made his acting debut in
the Ghent Playhouse's production of <i>The
Grapes of Wrath</i> in 2014 and has continued to be an integral part of each
and every one of its productions ever since, building sets for productions such
as <i>Fallen Angels</i>, <i>Heroes</i>, <i>Rabbit Hole</i> and <i>Little Shop
of Horrors</i>. </span></p><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman" size="3">
