Tuna</span></i><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">, written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard will open at the
Ghent Playhouse October 6 and run 3 weeks through October 22, 2017.<span>  </span>This production will be directed by Brian
Wagner who appeared in last year’s season opener, <i>The 39 Steps</i>.<span>  </span>Brian chose to direct this gem because “…
it’s a laugh a minute riot that will send audiences out into the chilly evening
with a smile on their face.”<span>  </span></span><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">This popular show has become one of the
most produced plays in American theatre history. After you’ve laughed til your
sides split, you’ll understand why.</span></font></font></p><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman" size="3">

</font><p style="margin:1em 0in"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><font color="#000000" size="3">In this hilarious
sendup of small town morals and mores, two actors portray over 20 characters –
men, women, children and animals - all wacky citizens of Tuna, <span> </span>Texas’ third smallest town.  This
daunting task has been taken on by two Ghent Playhouse veterans who both hail
from Hudson.<span>  </span>You know Don Dolan from his
dramatic appearance in <i>The Weir</i> and
his comical appearance as King Sextimus in <i>Once
Upon a Mattress</i>.<span>  </span>Kevin Kilb, who
opened last season in <i>The 39 Steps</i>
and closed it with his portrayal of Austin in <i>True West,</i> returns to open the current season.</font></span></p><font color="#000000" face="Times New Roman" size="3">

delightfully designed by Joanne Maurer and set design is by the Playhouse’s own
