When an impossibly bad actor is mistakenly identified as the inspector, the troupe does everything to accommodate his craziest wishes. As the impending opening night draws closer, it seems only a Christmas miracle will save this production.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal style='text-align:justify;text-indent:22.3pt;line-height:115%'><span style='font-family:"Gill Sans MT","sans-serif"'>The Director of <i>Inspecting Carol</i> is Jonathan Hefter. He previously directed HMT’s 2016 production of <i>Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. </i>As an actor he started his performing career here in Saratoga, and appeared in HMT’s 1987 production of <i>On Golder Pond</i>. He has appeared Off-Broadway and on television on such programs as Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Saturday Night Live.
