-- On Saturday evening,<u> </u>May 19, Schenectady Civic Players, the Capital
District’s oldest continually operating community theater and one of the nation’s
oldest, celebrated completion of <span> </span>its 90<sup>th
</sup>Season and Grand Opening of its new elevator and two-story<span>  </span>lobby addition to its complex in
Schenectady’s historic Stockade district. <span> </span><span></span></span></b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 10pt;line-height:115%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif""><b><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""><span>          </span>In addition to making the playhouse
more handicapped accessible the overall theater is now fully air-conditioned,
permitting addition of special events throughout the summer. <span></span></span></b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 10pt;line-height:115%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif""><b><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""><span>          </span>The celebration</span></b><span style="font-size:16pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">,<b> </b></span><b><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"">attended
by almost 200 invited guests, included local business and government
representatives, donors to The Players’ Centennial Campaign and Elevator
Project, plus Playhouse members, volunteers and subscribers. <span></span></span></b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 10pt;line-height:115%;font-size:11pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif""><b><span style="font-size:14pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif""><span>          </span>The event included a reception and
elevator ribbon cutting ceremony followed by an original show “DONE IT, SCENE
IT”, which in 90 minutes looked back on 90 years of Playhouse history, classic
scenes, moments and memories.<span></span></span></b></p>
