<span style="font-size:10.0pt">“13” is a hectic and fast-paced musical exploring the trials and tribulations of finding that being “cool” isn’t always what you think it is. We all remember what it was like to be 13, and if you ARE 13, you’re probably trying
to forget. The masterful rock score with music from Jason Robert Brown shows us the pain and intricacy involved in growing up while reminding us how awkward it can be to try and climb the tween “social ladder.” The characters are simple and relatable, dealing
with issues from learning how to make-out for the first time, to more complex problems like dealing with bullying. Told from the perspective of Evan Goldman, a kid who’s life suddenly shifts from cool and easy NYC to the plain and dull life of Appleton, Indiana,
you’ll find yourself both squirming with discomfort, laughing with camaraderie, and crying from touching moments of how life always challenges us with opportunities to make friends, conquer enemies, and how being yourself is always the coolest.

Our cast is made up entirely of local students and accompanied by a LIVE BAND with all local musicians!
