Jay Street, Schenectady</p><p>MopCo has been a great venue for stand-up in the past and tonight keeps that going. Five of the Greater Capital District’s best comedian take the stage for a night of expertly delivered stand-up comedy for just $10. <br> <br> William Hughes has been seen at venues such as The Broadway Comedy Club, Improv Boston, The Cohoes Music Hall, and The Comedy Works. He was voted 2nd best comedian in the Capital District in The Alt Weekly’s 2017 Readers’ Poll and has been twice reviewed favorably in The Albany Times Union. His mother is very proud of him. <br> <br> Bill Nettleton is a comedy writer and performer who has traveled literally all over the Capital Region delivering jokes that his mother is not proud of. He has performed stand-up comedy at the Comedy Works, sketch comedy at the MopCo Theatre, and ballet comedy in his bedroom mirror. <br> <br> Nell Shanahan is a British expat now living in Albany. She believes that being an artist can be challenging and powerful but sometimes fart jokes are the solution. She strongly believes all dogs are good dogs. Nell has performed at the Albany Funnybone, the Saratoga Comedy Works, and Proctors Theatre, and is happiest in life making the loudest noise to the most people.<br> <br> Jon Tenace is a stand-up comedian from Albany NY. Jon has been featured at many comedy clubs throughout the northeast including the Funny Bone, Jokers Wild, and the Comedy Works, to name a few. Jon is also in a comedy music duo, Jon and Dylan who has also played in clubs and festivals around the country. Mr. Tenace is also a proud "used to be" Mormon and played second chair trumpet in his high school jazz band. </p><p>This will be the best $10 you’ll spend this Friday. Cheaper than a movie and there’s beer in the lobby.
