</head><body><p><img class="aspect-ratio" style="max-width: 100%;" src="cid:58b0dd7266b042e29c68b825fc5b51ec@Open-Xchange" alt=""></p><p><strong>Comedy for a Cause!</strong></p><p>Everyone will win June 22 at The Mopco Improv Theatre when the Saturday night Theatresports show is devoted to “Comedy for a Cause”!</p><p>Seventy-five percent of the proceeds raised by this event will be donated to the American Heart Association to fund ongoing research in the prevention and treatment of heart disease and stroke. All donations will remain here in the Capital Region for research in local organizations and colleges. This is one of several events Ellis Medicine has organized to achieve a goal of $30,000 in donations for the AHA.</p><p>Theatresports pits two teams of improvisers against each other, performing scenes and songs inspired by audience suggestions and competing for laughs, cheers, points, and applause.<em>Whose Line Is It Anyway? </em>fans may recognize the format, but make no mistake—this show is created in-the-moment, on-the-spot, right before your very eyes!</p><p>The Mopco Improv Theatre is located at 10 North Jay Street, Schenectady. There’s plenty of <a href="https://www.mopco.org/about-us">free parking </a>on Union Street, in the library lot, in the public lot behind Perreca’s, at the Liberty Street lot, and in the “unofficial” city lot on the corner of Barrett and Union.</p><p>Doors open at 7:30 PM. Show 8:00 – 10:00 PM (with intermission).</p><p>$15 general admission, $6 seniors/students</p><p>Mopco also offers hot dogs, grilled cheese, cookies, candy, wine, beer, and other food and beverages for sale in the cafe.</p></body></html>
