Schenectady, N.Y. (7/1/21) – Schenectady Civic Players will re-open its doors with a Local Actors Guild of Saratoga production of <i>The Guys</i> – a play about the aftermath of the World Trade Center attack, that is remarkably relevant in a post-Covid world. <i>The Guys</i>, by Anne Nelson, is the true story of a New York City fire captain and a journalist, whose worlds collide in the days following <a rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" shape="rect" dir="ltr" style="color:currentcolor;text-decoration-color:rgba(128, 128, 128, 0.38);">9/11</a>. The play is based on Nelson's personal experiences helping a fire captain compose eulogies for the men lost in the World Trade Center attack. </font></div>
