SEEKING TALENT THAT CAN WORK AS NY LOCALS (a lot of the schools are in NYC
and surrounding areas)

Seeking 2 Adult Male Actors for a Theatre for Young Actors (TYA) in school
tour. MUST be able to WORK AS NY LOCALS (a lot of the schools are in NYC
and surrounding areas)

Please note:

*TOM does NOT have to sing (making note of this as he did have to sing in
past iterations of the breakdown.)

[TOM] 21-33 years old. Male. All Ethnicities.

A class clown. He is lively and quick-witted. Engaging and entertaining, he
possesses a natural ability to capture and hold the attention of young
viewers. Tom incorporates eccentric movements and dancing into his
performance. Quick thinking, physical agility, comedic timing, and
charismatic stage presence a must.

* MUST HAVE GOOD PHYSICALITY/BE A MOVER (the character dances in character,
but it is not choreographed)

* Previous Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) experience is a must.

*As a company representative, must be

* Must have a driver's license

[JERRY]

21-33 years old. Male. All Ethnicities.

An energetic teacher who finds excitement when teaching. He is charismatic
and knowledgeable. He serves as a guiding figure throughout the show. He
imparts valuable lessons to both the character of Tom and the audience.

* Previous Theatre for Young Audiences (TYA) experience is a must.

*As a company representative, must be comfortable interacting with school
faculty and staff members.

*Must have a driver's license.

Opening Date(s): Week of August 28, 2023

Closing Date(s): May 2024

Rate of Pay: $700/Week for rehearsal and show weeks,

Per Diem on travel dates: $45
