Summer Young Acting Company - SYAC



The Collaborative School of the Arts would like to invite you to this year’s summer program of SYAC. In Collaboration with theREP and the winners of the Young Playwright’s Contest, students of the Young Acting Company will debut brand-new plays at theREP.



Along with this program, you will indulge in workshops by industry professionals, hands on training in stage movement, vocal training, and character development. All Young Acting Company students are guaranteed at least two (2) speaking roles.



Program Dates: July 10th, 2023– July 29th , 2023 (Monday – Friday)



Hours: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm



Performances:

Friday, July 28th , 2023 @ 4:00 pm

Saturday, July 29th , 2023@ 11:00 am

Sunday, July 30th , 2023 @ 6:00 pm



Location: The Lauren and Harold Iselin Performing Arts Studio @ theREP

Cost: $800 tuition - https://school.proctors.org/financial-assistance/



Experience:  Intermediate – Advanced

Age Range: 13 – 18
