Annual Salute to Halloween Prepares to return with Fearful Auditions<BR>

LAKE GEORGE, N.Y., August 19, 2004 – With fearful thoughts of summer’s<BR>
waning days, The Great Escape is prepared to add a frightening new dimension<BR>
to the onset of fall with an early casting call for actors and actresses to<BR>
audition for its freakish mix of Fright Fest shows. Now entering its sixth<BR>
season at The Great Escape, Fright Fest is the park’s month-long array of<BR>
events and activities in celebration of Halloween.<BR>
<BR>
The Great Escape hopes to lure performers to the park for auditions on<BR>
Friday, September 3. Tryouts will be held inside the Bavarian Palace from<BR>
5 – 9 p.m. for the following shows: “Zambora,” “Monster Mash,” and<BR>
“Hangman.” Auditions will also take place for a variety of street<BR>
performer positions.<BR>

Fright Fest runs from October 2 – October 31, Saturdays and Sundays only.<BR>
The park is open from noon – 10 p.m. on Saturdays and from noon – 8 p.m. on<BR>
Sundays.<BR>

Fright Fest features a wide array of Halloween and fall themed activities<BR>
including: the area’s largest, most intricate, high-tech haunted house;<BR>
hundreds of pumpkins and ghouls, a trick or treat trail for youngsters, live<BR>
shows and performances, and much more.<BR>
