Mancha<BR>will be held 1/23 from 6p-9p and 1/24 from 7p-10p in Mother's<BR>Wine
Emporium (basement of the RPI Student Union) with possible<BR>call-backs on 1/25
from 6-9p in the Playhouse. Production dates are 4/8,<BR>9, 10, 14, 15, and

necessary. Please prepare 16 bars<BR>of a Broadway show tune and bring sheet
music. No Monologues. We will read<BR>directly from the script.<BR><BR>Available
roles are as follows:<BR><BR>Don Quixote (Cervantes) - Baritone (low B to
E). A tall and charming<BR>author and tax collector.<BR><BR>Sancho Panza -
Tenor (C to high G). Don Quixote.s pragmatic
loyal<BR>servant.<BR><BR>Aldonza (Dulcinea) - Soprano (low bA to high bA).
A wild, lusty woman<BR>whom Don Quixote takes a fancy to.<BR><BR>Innkeeper -
Bass (low G to C#). A strong but kind and sympathetic man.<BR><BR>Dr.
Carrasco - Baritone. (low C to bD). Loves money.<BR><BR>Padre - Tenor (F
to high G). Alonso Quijana.s friend and confessor.<BR><BR>Barber - Tenor
(D to high G). A comic part.<BR><BR>Antonia - Mezzo (C to high F).
Alonso Quijana.s self-centered niece who<BR>is about to be married to Dr.
Carrasco.<BR><BR>Housekeeper - Mezzo (F to high F). Alonso Quijana.s
strong housekeeper<BR>who is full of hope.<BR><BR>Pedro - Baritone (low D to
D). A rough, sturdy muleteer.<BR><BR>Anselmo - Tenor (A to high F#).
Another muleteer.<BR><BR>The Moor - Tenor (C to high bB)<BR><BR>Moorish Girl -
Featured dancer. Non-singing role.<BR><BR>Maria - Non-singing role.
The innkeeper.s shrewish wife.<BR><BR>Fermina - Non-singing role. A
serving girl.<BR><BR>Captain of the Inquisition - Non-singing. An
imposing, cruel man.<BR><BR>Guards and Men of the Inquisition, prisoners,
