<DIV>AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT<BR><BR>The Family Players of Northeastern New York is
announcing open auditions for the original play with music, "Portraits of
Christmas". Auditions will be held on Monday October 2nd at 6:30 pm at St.
Paul's Episcopal Church in the City of Albany, 21 Hacket Blvd, Albany.
Come prepared with a Christmas Carol to sing and to read from the script. Any
carol is acceptable, but please consider from among the following:<BR><BR>Away

of Christmas" celebrates the cultural diversity of Christmas through drama and
music, showcasing the Christmas traditions of four different countries - France,
Mexico, Russia, and the United States. There are many speaking roles to go along
with the large and small ensemble singing. There are opportunities for
solos.<BR><BR>A minimum of 12 adults (6 men and 6 women, age 16+, all voice
parts) with doubling, and 8 children (ages 8 - 13) are needed. Every scene
contains ensemble roles, but key speaking roles include:<BR><BR>Narrator - any
