New York is announcing open<BR>auditions for the original play with music,
"Portraits of Christmas". <BR>Auditions will be held on Monday October 2nd at
6:30 pm at St. Paul's<BR>Episcopal Church in the City of Albany, 21 Hacket Blvd,
Albany. Come<BR>prepared with a Christmas Carol to sing and to read from
the script. <BR>Any carol is acceptable, but please consider from among the

cultural diversity of Christmas<BR>through drama and music, showcasing the
Christmas traditions of four<BR>different countries - France, Mexico, Russia,
and the United States. <BR>There are many speaking roles to go along with the
large and small<BR>ensemble singing. There are opportunities for
solos.<BR><BR>A minimum of 12 adults (6 men and 6 women, age 16+, all voice
parts)<BR>with doubling, and 8 children (ages 8 - 13) are needed. Every
scene<BR>contains ensemble roles, but key speaking roles
