A blood-thirsty Little Red Riding Hood?? A witch who raps??? These are just a few of the wacky characters in this “fractured” fairy tale! What begins as an irreverent fantasy ultimately turns into a moving saga about community, responsibility and forgiveness. It reminds us that our children are always listening so we must be mindful of what we say.</SPAN></P>

Melissa Lacijan, however, is not a “first-timer” having directed the much loved and successful “Guys and Dolls” in the summer of 1995. She is returning to direct this show with boundless excitement and enthusiasm. “I have been hoping for an opportunity to direct <I>“Into the Woods”</I> for many years. Its timeless messages and beautiful score will make this a real labor of love”, said Melissa Lacijan when asked about this new project.</SPAN></P>
