<DIV>This summer, the Not So Common Players of Clifton Park are "off to see the
Wizard"! That’s right! Auditions for adults (age 14+) for THE WIZARD OF OZ
will be held May 12 & 14 at the Hannford Plaza storefront (next to Bellini’s
restaurant). Sign-ups begin at 7:00 p.m. Callbacks and children’s
auditions (ages 6+ for Munchkin roles) will be held May 17 at the Clifton Park
Senior Center, Commons, Visher Ferry Road. Sign-ups begin at 1:00
p.m. Both adults and children should prepare 16-bars of music from a
Broadway show, and bring appropriate sheet music. An accompanist will be
provided. No adults will be allowed to accompany their child into the
audition hall. PLEASE NOTE: Auditionees for the role of Dorothy
should prepare to sing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" for their
audition. There will be a dance audition. Performers should
dress for movement.<BR><BR>Most of the cast will play multiple roles. This show
demands a dedicated group of actors so unless you have made arrangements with
the director by the first rehearsal, attendance to all rehearsals and dance
workshops is mandatory. A tentative rehearsal schedule will be available
for viewing at the auditions.<BR><BR>The production dates are July 11-20,
2008. Laura W. Andruski directs, with vocal direction by Pat Douglass,
choreography by Sara Paupini and Richard Lenehan producing. Barret Germain
