<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Cambria', 'serif'"><FONT size=3>Spotlight Players Community Theater, Inc. announces auditions for a February production of <B><I>The Harry and Sam Dialogues</I></B><I>.<SPAN> </SPAN></I>The play will be performed in tandem with <I><SPAN> </SPAN><B>Love Letters, </B><SPAN> </SPAN></I>as part of a Valentine’s Day special weekend of performances focused on love and lifelong friendships, and featuring live music and catered deserts between performances.</FONT></SPAN></P>

<P style="BACKGROUND: #f8fcff"><FONT size=3><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Cambria', 'serif'">On the surface, <B><I>The Harry and Sam Dialogues</I></B> appear to be philosophical discussions between two blue-collar types who are way out of their league, but their discussions are surprisingly lively. They use what they can from their own lives, like milk and Ding-Dongs, to make sense of what everything means. They discuss all the big questions: Is there life after death? How are men and women different? And, of course, if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound? </SPAN><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Cambria', 'serif'">Harry and Sam are old friends who like to pass the time posing outlandish questions to one another. "If ya had the choice would ya rather love a woman whose top half was a fish and whose bottom half was a woman or a woman whose top half was a woman and whose bottom half was a
fish?" Harry asks. "Good question," responds Sam. The questions are off the wall, but they slowly reveal the two men's characters, and allow them to take stock of each other while avoiding mundane, but important, life matters. The play by Karen Ellison plays out in a series of dialogues that reveal the true nature of friendship and commitment.</SPAN></FONT></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Cambria', 'serif'"><FONT size=3>Please come prepared to tell a short, humorous story about your own life, and be prepared to read from the script at audition. Dress comfortably.<SPAN> </SPAN>Actors will need to be able to demonstrate a strong connection to their counterpart, and establish a belief that they have been friends for 20 years.<SPAN> </SPAN>Rehearsals will begin in January, 2 to 3 times per week with an initial read through of the play December 15.</FONT></SPAN></P>
