The Colonial Little Theatre, in Johnston, NY, will be holding auditions for “Bus Stop,” a comedy by Pulitzer Prize-winning American author William Inge, on <b>Monday, April 6 and Wednesday, April 8 </b>at 7:00 p.m. Randy McConnach will direct. <br> <br>In the middle of a howling snowstorm, a bus out of Kansas City pulls up at a roadside diner. All roads are blocked, and the weary travelers are going to have to hole up until morning. <br> <br>The Cast: <br> <br>Elma Duckworth, a waitress, a big eyed girl still in high school. <br> <br>Grace Hoylard, owner of the restaurant, a more seasoned woman (than Elma). <br> <br>Will Masters, a sheriff, a saturnine man with a large presence. <br><br>Cherie, a chanteuse (a female night club singer), a young girl of about 20. She's pretty, fragile, and girlish. <br><br>Dr. Gerald Lyman, a former college professor, about 50, medium height, ruddy boyish face, scholarly. <br> <br>Carl, a bus driver, loud and hearty. <br><br>Bo Decker, a young rancher and cowboy, in his early twenties, tall, slim and good looking in an outdoors way. <br> <br>Vergil Blessing, a ranch hand, a man able to regard Bo in an almost parental way: somewhat older than Bo. A big man, corpulent and slow moving. <br> <br>Production dates will be June 5-7 and 12-14. The theatre is located at 1 Colonial Court, Johnstown NY.
