longest-running non-musical play in American theatre history, <EM>Shear
Madness</EM> is a wacky whodunit where the audience gets to solve the crime. The

style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>when</SPAN> the landlady who lives
upstairs is murdered and every one of the actors could be a suspect. The
performance involves audience members in questioning the actors and attempting
to solve the crime, and is filled with up-to-the-minute spontaneous humor and
improvisation. It’s a different play every night — but one that is always sure
to elicit, as The Washington Post says, “shrieks of
