Prepare 16 bars of a Broadway Musical. It is STRONGLY recommended that
you sing a song from the show, But NOT required. NO A CAPELLA SINGING.
There will be a dance audition so please bring appropriate clothing.
There may also be cold readings from the script. If you have a head
shot and/or resume please bring that also.<br><br>Synopsis:<br>All
Shook Up is a jukebox musical featuring the music of the classic rock
star Elvis Presley, with a book by Joe DiPietro. The story is based on
the plot of William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. It's the summer of
1955 in a small town in the American Midwest and, during a 24 hour
period, a rovin' roustabout with a song in his heart will change this
town forever!<br><br>Roles Available:<br><br>Chad (Tenor)- a great-lookin', motorcycling, guitar-playing, leather-jacketed roustabout.<br><br>Sylvia (Belt/Soprano)- the no-nonsense owner of SYLVIA'S HONKY-TONK. <br><br>Lorraine (Belt/Soprano)- Sylvia's daughter, naive, looking for love<br><br>Dennis (Tenor)- a young, awkward, aspiring dentist.<br><br>Mayor Matilda Hyde (Alto)- the town's conservative mayor<br><br>Dean Hyde (Tenor)- Matilda's son. He has grown up at a military boarding school.<br><br>Sheriff Earl (Baritone)- the law in town.
