Short Play Festival - "Dynamic Characters, Dramatic
Situations" <BR></B></FONT><FONT face=Geneva
color=#000000 size=2 FAMILY="SANSSERIF"><BR> Circle
Theater players will be accepting original one act plays for presentation in
their first annual play festival to be held December 3rd and 4th, 2010 at the
Sand Lake Center for the Arts, Averill Park, NY. We'll accept plays that
have or have not been previously staged and are not currently with a publishing
house. <BR><BR>
*Comedy, drama, or mystery
accepted. <BR>
*Performance length must be
between ten and thirty minutes.
<BR>
*Plays need to be able to be performed on a bare stage with minimal set pieces.
<BR>
*Submission deadline is June 15, 2010.

*Playwrights will be notified of selection decisions by August 15, 2010.
<BR><BR>The festival is a competition with monetary
prizes; productions will be adjudicated by a TANYS Roving Adjudicator; all
participants will receive feedback from a local playwright. Directors and
publicity for performances will be provided by Circle Theater Players.
Submission Details: Title of play and pg. number should be on each page of
the play. AUTHOR'S NAME MUST NOT APPEAR EXCEPT ON COVER SHEET. Cover sheet
should include title of the play, name of playwright, address, phone number,
email address, a short biography of the playwright and a brief background of the
play's development. Submissions must be double spaced in 12 point
