Call backs will be Thursday, May 26th if necessary.<BR><STRONG>Time<BR></STRONG>Sign-in begins at 7:00pm and auditions start promptly at 7:30pm<BR><STRONG>Place <BR></STRONG>Rexford United Methodist Church; 18 Main St; Rexford, NY. Off Balltown Rd. between Rte. 146 and the Rexford bridge.<BR> <BR><STRONG>Production Dates<BR></STRONG>August 5-7 and 11-14, 2011<BR> <BR><STRONG>About the Show<BR></STRONG>Robbie Hart is New Jersey’s favorite wedding singer until his fiancée leaves him at the altar. Heartbroken, he is forced to reexamine the meaning of love and marriage with the help of Julia, a waitress from one of his wedding-singing venues. Based on the hit movie, THE WEDDING SINGER is a look back to the days when hair was big, greed was good, collars were up, and a wedding singer just might be the coolest guy in the room.<BR> <BR><STRONG>Audition Info</STRONG><BR>All auditioners should prepare 16 bars of music from a contemporary musical that show range and character. Please bring your own sheet music. A cappella singing or singing with a CD will NOT be allowed. Singing from the show is encouraged but not mandatory. All auditioners should bring comfortable clothes to dance in and appropriate footwear as there will be a dance combination. Auditioners will also be given the opportunity to read from the script.<BR> <BR>Auditioners interested in the roles of Robbie and Sammy may bring a guitar, if they play. Those who do and do not play are encouraged to audition. A guitar player is preferred, but ultimately it will come down to the best singer/actor for the roles. <BR> <BR>If available, please bring a resume and headshot.<BR> <BR>ALL ROLES AVAILABLE!<BR> <BR><STRONG>Characters</STRONG><BR><STRONG>Robbie Hart</STRONG> (Rock Tenor, 20-35) – a musician and lead singer for a trio that plays at weddings – very charismatic yet insecure with a “puppy dog” appeal.
