This may be done using one or more verses of a song with a refrain (or more), but must be less than 5 minutes if at all
possible! Please use this unique audition specification to show off your range/ability, and comedic/dramatic style.
Please do NOT plan to sing your monologue.
(If you would prefer to do a monologue not following this format, it must be approved by the Director prior to auditions, and must be at least five minutes in length)
*Please bring resume/headshot if you have them.
*Looking for all ages, 'kids from 1 to 92' (Actors MUST work well independently and with groups!). Despite reassurances by Kringle's doctor that he is harmless, Doris still has misgivings, especially when she has cynically trained herself, and especially her daughter, Susan, to reject all notions of belief and fantasy.
And yet, people, especially Susan, begin to notice there is something special about Kris and his determination to
advance the true spirit of Christmas amidst the rampant commercialism around him and succeeding in improbable ways!

Roles to be cast include***:
Doris Walker (No nonsense Event Director, Divorcee), 25-40 years old
Frederick M.
