Registration will begin at 7pm. <BR>Callbacks, if necessary, will take place January 4th. The musical director is<BR>Elizabeth “Cookie” Sears and the Choreographer is SaraFittizzi, who<BR>also serves as producer. Production dates are March 16-18 and March<BR>22-25, 2012. A large,diverse cast of men, women and children will be<BR>needed. Those auditioning should prepare to sing 16-32
barsof music<BR>from a Broadway show (no pop or rock) and bring sheet music.An<BR>accompanist will be provided. No monologue necessary. Selected actors<BR>will read directly from the script. There will be a brief dance<BR>audition as well, so please dress accordingly. It is based on Tevye and his Daughters (or Tevye theMilkman and<BR>Other Tales) by Sholem Aleichem. The story centers on Tevye,the father<BR>of five daughters, and his attempts to maintain his familyand Jewish<BR>religious traditions while outside influences encroach upontheir lives.<BR>He must cope with both the strong-willed actions of histhree older<BR>daughters—each one's choice of husband moves further awayfrom the<BR>customs of his faith—and with the edict of the Tsar
