<p class="MsoNormal">The Local Actors Guild of Saratoga is looking for 3 male
actors and 1 female actress for their March production of the regional premiere
of <br></p><p class="MsoNormal"><font size="6">“My Big Gay Italian Wedding”</font></p><font size="6">

</font><p class="MsoNormal"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal">As the weather in upstate New York grows cold, what could
warm hearts more than an Italian wedding complete with Brooklynese, big hair
and big drama? How about an eccentric, escapist, from the heart play called MY
BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING? Anthony Pinnunziato has proposed <span class="textexposedshow">to Andrew Polinski, and Andrew has accepted. Being from
an Italian family, Anthony finds that he must have a big, traditional wedding.
Mom and Pop Pinnunziato, having accepted Anthony’s sexuality, are not ready to
walk him down the aisle unless a few conditions are met. Mom wants the local
Catholic priest to perform the service, and for Andrew’s mother to come up from
Florida to give her blessing in person. Those are just the first two plot
complications in MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING. We also meet Anthony’s
"Broadway star" sister, bickering lesbians (Connie and Lucia) who
used to date, a jilted gigolo who wants nothing more than to spoil the
nuptials, a local guy in search of a date, a casino gambling Aunt and an
over-the-top wedding planner.</span><br>

<span class="textexposedshow">Set before the Gay Marriage Bill was passed in New
York this play proves to be one hell of a laugh fest!</span><br>

<span class="textexposedshow">Performances are Saturdays March 17th & 24th at
2pm & 8pm and Sundays March 18th & 25th at 8pm</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal">THE PARTS ARE LISTED BELOW WITH A BRIEF DESCRIPTION</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal">Maurizio Legrande – Late 20’s-40’s. Outlandishly dressed,
over the top, flamboyant wedding coordinator. He has an accent that cannot be
pegged down.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Connie – Lucia’s nemesis. Just as pretty, but much tougher.
The gum chewing mouth of a truck driver who doesn’t take crap from anyone. Lesbian.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Joseph Pinnunziato/Father Rosalia – Late 40’s. Joseph is
Anthony’s loud Italian father whose word is law and whose home is his castle.
Father Rosalia is the crush of every parishioner, both male and female. Tries
hard to resist the temptations of flesh, both male and female. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Frankie – Late 20’s-30’. Tough, good-looking Italian stud. No-nonsense,
out and proud. The straight acting gay guy in the bunch.</p>
