Hello everyone! How are you doing? I hope well! One day of auditions has already passed for the RPI Players’ THE DROWSY CHAPERONE directed by Frank Levit. If you missed yesterday’s session, you can still come to today’s. Auditions are from 6pm-9:30pm at the RPI Playhouse. We are looking for actors college age and older. The Drowsy Chaperone is a musical within a comedy that plays tribute to the Larger-Than-Life musicals of the 1920's. The music begins, and the Man in the Chair's apartment is transformed; he stages the musical for us, and as he becomes more swept up in the love story - complete with gangsters, showgirls, and of course the Drowsy (drunk) Chaperone - the Man in the Chair brings us along with him.. This light hearted musical speaks to the desire within all of us, to simply be entertained.
