<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;padding:0;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial;">This workshop begins a new program at Hubbard Hall: a young theater company in which the actors write plays, choreograph movement and dance, compose music, design and build sets, make graphics and marketing concepts. Each student will be a leader in one aspect of the production, and will assist other student leaders. Adult mentors will serve the artistic and entrepreneurial ideas of the company members. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0;padding:0;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Arial;">The title for this summer’s production will be decided by the participants. </span></p>

He has directed </span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-style: italic;">Hadrian VII</span><span style="font-family: Arial;">, </span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-style: italic;">The Madwoman of Chaillot</span><span style="font-family: Arial;">,</span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-style: italic;"> Thrills, Spills and Lonely Hearts</span><span style="font-family: Arial;">,</span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-style: italic;"> Two by Albee</span><span style="font-family: Arial;">, and </span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-style: italic;">The Night of the Iguana </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">at the Hall. He was a founding member of Shakespeare & Co and co-founded Counterpoint Theater, Boston. He has taught, directed and acted at many theaters and universities here and abroad.</span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-style: italic;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">He has a playwriting MFA from Goddard College; his plays and films have won awards and have been performed in several theaters in NY and regionally.</span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-style: italic;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial;">He lives in Vermont where he works frequently as a teaching artist in the public schools. </span></span></p>
