The three-day new play summit features two play readings, presentations about the play development process that will be co-hosted by the Upstate Equity Actors Alliance, a critics’ roundtable and a staged reading of a musical from the submitted plays. Play and musical titles to be included in the summit will be announced in September. The theatre seeks Equity and non-Equity singer-actors who can read music and are excellent sight-readers for the musical staged reading. </p>
