<h2><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The Local
Actors Guild of Saratoga is looking for actors for their March production of
Del Shores’ SORDID LIVES directed by Tim Czelusniak-Serviss. Rehearsals will
begin in late January in Saratoga Springs. Listed below is a synopsis and
character breakdown. </span></h2>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt;line-height:normal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Writer-director Del Shores serves up a heaping helping of
Southern-fried comic melodrama in his play about infidelity, country &
western music, and Airstream trailers. When their Mother dies. Latrelle and
LaVonda , along with their Aunt Sissy plan her funeral -- an unenviable task,
considering that they must carefully hide the deceased's affair with amputee
G.W. from his wife, the vindictive Noleta. Meanwhile, the trio has to come to
terms with two cases of sexual orientation: Latrelle's openly gay soap-opera
star son Ty, whose sexuality she continues to deny; and their only brother,
Earl “Brother Boy,” who's serving a sentence in a mental ward for his adamant
belief that he is actually country & western legend Tammy Wynette. Throw in
Bitsy Mae Harling an guitar playing ex-con singer, Dr. Eve, a phyciastrist
trying to “De-homosexualize” Brother Boy, Juanita, the town drunk, Odell &
Wardell, redneck brothers and you have SORDID LIVES</span></p>

gay-bashing remorseful bartender.</span></p>

are looking for actors and actresses thank have comedic timing and are fun to
work with. </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Rehearsals will start January 16<sup>th</sup> with a read
through. Rehearsals are Sunday, Monday & Wednesday evenings in Saratoga.
This show is broken down into 4 “acts” actors will not be needed for every
rehearsal until tech week. So, this makes the commitment to the show very easy.
