Phil Rice is directing “Miracle on South Division Street” at
Curtain Call Theatre this spring. The new comedy/drama by Tom Dudzick, author
of the popular Curtain Call productions “Over the Tavern” and “King O’ the
Moon,” takes place in the kitchen of Clara Nowak in a run-down, working class
neighborhood in Buffalo where Clara and her three children have gathered for a
“family meeting.”

All four parts are available:

Clara,
in her 60s, the feisty matriarch of the family.

Beverly,
in her 30s, Clara’s oldest daughter. An avid bowler dating a fallen priest.

Ruth, in her 30s, the middle child,
smitten by the theatre. She has called the meeting.

Jimmy, in his 30s, the “baby.”

This is a very funny, warm and moving play about people who,
despite appearances, deeply love each other and care deeply about the concept
and the reality of Family.

The show runs from May 24th to June 22nd.
Rehearsals will begin in early April.
