<div class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">Overview of the project:</span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal"><span style="color: black;">In workshops with the women veterans we will explore, process and develop dramatic writing and video interviews from the perspective of women veteran.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>The topics will range from ideas of home, returning home, military, country, society and so on.  Their writing and videos would serve as an entry point for a group of local high school girls (fostering an inter-generational conversation).<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>In workshops the young women will discuss, research and explore the stories crafted by the women veterans.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The veterans and high school students will meet to process and create work together.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Over the course of 10 weeks the high school students will develop a theatrical piece to be performed based on the lives of the veteran women and the girls’ responses to their life experiences.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>The final product will be an interactive, multimedia theater performance that will incorporate video footage of the veterans, performance of the collaborative writings of the veterans and high school students and an opportunity for the audience to be apart of the performance by telling their unseen, untold story.</span><span style="color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"></span></div>
