<div><p><font face="arial, sans-serif">Learn to write a short musical with playwright/composer/lyricist Kit Goldstein Grant and music educator/pianist Rebecca Benjamin. Students (age 7 - 12) will learn the basics of lyric writing, song form, and what goes into making a memorable melody. Together, the group will come up with a fun story and work together to write the songs to go with it! On the final day, students will perform a staged reading of their work for parents and</font> friends<font face="arial, sans-serif">. </font><i>Students should bring a notebook, pencil, and lunch.</i></p>
