<P class=ecxMsoNormal>Elwood P. Dowd is the central character of the play, a friendly and eccentric who spends his days and nights in the taverns of his unnamed town.<SPAN> </SPAN>Elwood’s best friend is Harvey, an invisible 6-foot-tall rabbit.</P>
