<P class=ecxMsoNormal><FONT face=Calibri>Learn the art of stage combat in a safe environment from a trained fight choreographer.<SPAN> </SPAN>Students will learn how to do comedic pratfalls, stage movement, lifts, falls, as well as unarmed and armed stage combat and how these different skills can help tell a story.<SPAN> </SPAN>Students will have the opportunity to stage and help create fight choreography under the guidance of the instructor.<SPAN> </SPAN>Eric Shovah is a performer and director whose fight choreography credits include such shows as <I>Treasure Island, Arsenic and Old Lace, </I>and <I>Peter Pan</I>.</FONT></P><FONT face="Times New Roman"></FONT>

<P class=ecxMsoNormal><FONT face=Calibri>Students will learn and practice techniques to improve on auditions and to also improve as performers in general.<SPAN> </SPAN>All students are encouraged to bring either a monologue or song to work on as part of the class.<SPAN> </SPAN>This is a great opportunity for students auditioning for Spring High School Productions to prepare and receive feedback from an experienced director.<SPAN> </SPAN>The students will also tackle topics like cold readings from a script, movement, improv scenes, character development, script analysis, and much more!<SPAN> </SPAN>Eric Shovah is a local director who works with many area schools and has experience in musicals, comedies, dramas, and classics.<SPAN> </SPAN></FONT></P><FONT face="Times New Roman"></FONT>
