 Players  of Pittsfield will be holding auditions on Tuesday, September 2
 and Wednesday, September 3 for a staged reading of "Gently Down the 
Stream" by </font>

        
                
                
        
        <span style="font-size: 12.000000pt; font-family: 'CourierFinalDraft'"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Robin Rice Lichtig</font><font size="3"><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">
 and directed by Melanie Rivers. Auditions will be from 6:30pm to 8:00pm
 at the Whitney Center for the Arts, 42 Wendell Avenue in Pittsfield.<br>

"Gently Down the Stream" is a heartwarming tale about one family's 
challenges as seen through the eyes of their cat, Turbo. Needed for the 
cast are three women in their thirties, one man thirty to forty, one 
person of any age to play the very special cat, Turbo, and one person of
 any age as narrator.<br>

The performance will be on Sunday, September 28. <br>
