<p>Albany Civic Theater is now accepting submissions from local playwrights for original one-act plays.</p>

<p>ACT will produce a staged reading of the selected play in July of 2015. <b>The deadline for submissions is December 31, 2014. </b></p>

<p>Plays that are considered must be from a local playwright; have not been produced or published before; and are one-act. Children's shows and musicals are not considered for this showcase.</p>
