
<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html charset=windows-1252"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; "><font size="6"><b><u>Little Brown Dog</u></b></font><div><font size="6"><b><u><br></u></b></font></div><div><font size="4">A secular examination of the process a young teen goes through as he comes to terms with his loss of innocence.</font></div><div><span style="font-size: large; "><br></span></div><div><span style="font-size: large; ">I am in search of three motivated actors to play l</span><span style="font-size: large; ">ead roles. Looking for people 18 and up.</span></div><div><font size="4"><br></font></div><div><font size="4"><b><u>Characters:</u></b></font></div><div><font size="4"><b><u><br></u></b></font></div><div><font size="4"><b>Jake</b>-</font><font size="4">Age 16-17. Divorced parents, lives with his dad, doesn’t see his mom much. In the flashbacks he was a heavy drinker, he isn’t anymore. Grew up with mike became friend’s with Jane in high school, friendly with everybody, only really close with Mike and Jane. He’s more subdued than Mike is, and kind of rides on Mike’s bombastic personality. Idealistic view of the world, his dark side is kind of generated by that idealistic view, and that the world doesn’t live up to his view of it. When he drinks he becomes less subdued, and unleashes inner frustrations. In the present he is deconstructing his idealistic view, and coming to terms with what he has done. Part of the contrast of the ideal and real world is in his relationship with his parents. Maintains a good attitude, throughout the flashbacks.</font></div><div><font size="4"><br></font></div><div><font size="4"><b>Mike</b>-Age 16-17. He has a more settled home life than everyone else, not upper-middle class, but solidly middle class. Met Jake when he was a new kid in the area, Jake was one of his first friends. Slowly though, Jake became more diminutive and Mike’s personality came out as outgoing and positive. He is a solid B student, and knows how to manipulate teachers, as well as peers. His parents are still together. Very animalistic, sexually assertive and open.</font></div><div><font size="4"><br></font></div><div><font size="4"><b>Jane</b>-</font><font size="4">Age 17-18. Longtime girlfriend of Mike. Jane and Jake are now closer than Mike and Jake are. Jane was the middle-woman when Jake and Mike would bicker. Cool, down to earth girl, who’s friends with more men than women. Jane is the favorite child.</font></div><div><font size="4"><br></font></div><div><span style="font-size: large; ">Compensation: Along with meals being provided on set and reimbursement for travel, you will receive $200 upon completion of filming.</span></div><div><font size="4"><br></font></div><div><font size="4">Shooting is tentatively set to begin in Late February/Early March. For more information visit: </font><a href="https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/938868355/little-brown-dog">https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/938868355/little-brown-dog</a></div><div><br></div><div><font size="4">If interested please send your headshot and resume to <a href="mailto:mvbendon90@gmail.com">mvbendon90@gmail.com</a></font></div></body></html>
